This amazing 24 frame mosaic stitched into a vast panorama comes from an equally amazing night sky photographer; Tony Hallas. In the Cascade Mountain Range of Northern California, the Milky Way Galaxy stretches seemingly from Mt. Lassen on the left to Mt. Shasta on the right while the entire valley is dimly lit, seemingly by the light of the galaxy itself. The Cascade Mountain Range is part of the Pacific Ring Of Fire.
