This beautiful photo is from Jakrapong Sombatwattangkool and it depicts the Milky Way galaxy far beyond the Kashmir Mosque. The photo here is actually two photos. First, the photo of the mosque was taken initially and the shot of the Milky Way was later taken in in a different location but in the same general direction then applied to the background to show what the scene would look like if there we no lights in the area. Not a single photo if you will (many are not) but still a very beautiful and creative shot!

Jamia Masjid of Srinagar is the name of the mosque and it resides in Kashmir, India at the center of the old city at Nowhatta. It was constructed in 1400 AD by Sultan Sikandar and later extended by his son.
