This beautiful Milky Way image comes to us from the amazing night sky photographer Paul Pichugin.  I should probably just say photographer because his images are incredible at any hour of the day.  This image was captured in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia at the site of an old double decker bus ruin.  Initially, when I see images such as this one here I can’t help thinking of the enormity of time as our generations and millennia come and go the Milky Way remains almost unchanged.  That and I also think about how I’d live to see the night sky from such a location.

I hope you enjoy this image and check out more of his work in the provided links.
