This is getting good! You want better than Hubble images of Dwarf Planet Ceres, NASA’s Dawn spacecraft brings you better than Hubble images of Ceres. This image was captured on February 12, 2015 from a distance of 52,000 mi. (83,000 km) as the 590 mi. (950 km) diameter dwarf planet rotated in order to capture two sides of it.
If you remember those breath taking images of asteroid Vesta from Dawn, you will realize we have much to look forward to in regard to data and image resolution of the only dwarf planet in the inner solar system.
