SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch for Thales

On Monday, April 27 at 19:03 EDT a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket left Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40 or “SLICK-40”) carrying the TurkmenAlem52E/MonacoSat 1 communications satellite for Thales Alenia and the Turkmenistan government and provide communications for Central Asia.  Launch is all the way at the end at 1:08:54.

This flight was not a first stage ASDS landing attempt. This will be the Falcon 9’s 18th flight “F9-18” and the Falcon 9 version 1.1 (F9v1.1) 13th flight. This was also SpaceX’s 5th launch in 4 months and the 2nd launch in 13 days. I think that’s a record but I could be wrong.
