Here’s another incredible image by the infamous Everyday Astronaut, from the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats in northwestern Utah. As a space and race fan, this location holds my attention year after year. The flats are the remains of the ancient dry lake Bonneville from the Pleistocene Epoch. Though mainly dry, during the winter season, it’s usually coated in water up to an inch or so.

From land speed records to black night skies this is a great place to at least visit once or twice in your lifetime.

I hope you enjoy this image from the always entertaining and creative, Everyday Astronaut and as always, be sure to check out more of his work.
